  2.  @Phoenix-vg8li  You realize the war is effectively over. Russia has the will, men and logistics to get far more soldiers to the front. We have Anthony Blinken who is so far in over his head that it's amazing he managed to keep the US Fleet from sinking while he was an admiral.

  6.  @jonlittle5032  Ukraine can't produce people fast enough. An entire generation who actually knew what they were doing is now dead and buried. It's not about financial aid, it's about people. Ukraine as a percentage of population has lost far more than Russia. No one serious believes differently.

  7.  @jiridrapal7512  The logistics are very much in Russia's favor now. The war is unwinnable in normal terms. That's not even mentioning a big chunk of eastern Ukraine is populated by pro-Russian separatists.

  8.  @brianhampson2314  Unlikely. Russia isn't letting the parts of Ukraine go, and Ukraine doesn't have the manpower or materials to eject them. Frankly I don't care either way, because it's largely irrelevant. And the root cause is because our president is a walking corpse, and I wish the Ukrainians well, but these are the facts of the situation and rah-rah'ing it won't affect the outcome.

  9. In a practical sense international law doesn't exist. War is really all about how much men and munitions can be brought to the battlefield. Waving a piece of paper that says "against international law" doesn't really do much against 500,000 men, tanks, airplanes and missiles does it?

  10.  @Withnail1969  Because they understand they're cannon fodder in a proxy war with the US. Remember, Ukraine was denied entry into the EU because of corruption, they've jailed opposition leaders, cancelled elections and so we're not even defending a democracy. It's not clear what this war is about at all actually.
