  2. There have been much better explanations of why the current press is so bad. Not least of which is reporting used to be done by sons of blue collar workers. So they had a natural distrust of politicians. Also, the CIA via project Mockingbird (look it up on Wikipedia) undertook an effort to influence American media to follow the government narrative. It seems likely this effort never really went away. Today's reporters by and large are in sync with the Democrat party in the United States and tends to align very closely with their viewpoint. This is shown by a review of political donations by the press is overwhelmingly to Democrat candidates. And these journalists are openly hostile to any discussion online of viewpoints that differ from theirs. And increasingly why "conspiracy theories" have a high degree of being correct on COVID, government interference in social media, and protection of politicians they agree with and hostile to politicians they don't agree with. The end result is the American public is the least informed it has been in 50 years, and it's getting worse.

  5.  @ZiggyAndTheSpiderFromMars  It's why Peters says silly stuff about Ukraine and how evil Putin is, and how Ukraine is winning. Ukraine is a completely corrupt country. All those billions being sent there are not for the reasons we're told it is, and the corruption there is astounding. And there is no way to for Ukraine to win. The bottom line is Ukraine isn't innocent, and Russia is not all evil.
