  2. So your frame of reference is 50 years. The earth is 4.5 billion years old. What you're saying is that during the 50 years you've been alive you've noticed the temperature is going up. If you lived in 1425, you'd notice that the temperature was getting much colder than it was when you were a kid. You'd pronounce that "not normal", because you noticed a difference that the winter is getting a lot colder.

  3. Oil and Gas will be with us for at least a century, since we don't really have an alternative. As to the climate change narrative, it's mostly overblown; the bulk of climate change is natural as we're at the tail end of a cold period. Historically, we are getting far less large and devastating hurricanes. Most of the destructive hurricanes that we've recorded are mostly in the 20th century. We're actually in a lull for Hurricanes.

  8.  @thunbergmartin  Isn't that silly though? Even if man made climate change was real, there's very little we can do to stop it. Certainly EVs, windmills and solar cells aren't going to change anything. The reality is carbon is not causing warming; carbon is a trailing indicator of heat rise. It's why I laugh when people say things like "Net Zero". Which means that you still are emitting carbon, but you pay a company that sets aside forest land that they swear they'll never cut down the trees.

  11.  @GolemRising  There is no accurate data beyond 175 years in the past, so that completely undermines that point. Remember, the religion of climate science claims that a 3 degree rise in temperature is catastrophic, but neither tree rings nor ice core samples are accurate enough determine actual temperatures. Do you even have a degree in STEM?
