@theespionageact5249 Fauci said in a private emails the masks don't do anything. His advice to colleagues at CDC was to not bother wearing them.

@theespionageact5249 These emails that demonstrate he was not honest in his advice, and his answers on gain of function to congress has greatly diminished his star, and it's frankly time for him to retire. He would destroy scientists who disagreed with him with a whisper to the press. That alone should make you put aside your man crush on the guy. Also, you do realize that when you're the boss, you're included on all published papers, right? I worked in a lab and my boss would read my papers and his name would be on the paper even though he didn't contribute anything. Fauci's name went first because he was the boss, and then of course his name appears in all the references. You should know how that game is played.
