Exactly and people LOVE their pets in the US. It has a visceral impact on people thinking about their cat being caught by a savage and then roasted and eaten. It actually makes me sick thinking about that.

You know, there's no such thing as a perfect candidate. One who has the people's interest at heart, can articulate and can get the support of enough people to get elected. I choose the candidate who cares about saving this country. I'll overlook his lack of polish. I want someone in there who will fight for the American way.

@stephenglover1818 Trump usually picks her battles pretty well. When he talks about Haitians eating people's pets, their dogs, their cats, you underestimate how much people care about their pets and imagine their own pets being taken and eaten. It has a visceral reaction with people.

The thing is, it helped Trump, particularly with independents in no small part because the 🐪 could not articulate a coherent policy.

@guyinsf ...and she looked weird with those faces and facial tics... it was disturbing to look at.

@geeunit831 Trump's performance was horrible The public disagrees. Trump "won" the debate last night based on the polling ABC did.

@Craigers8637 Definitely a low-T guy

Mark Halperin worked for CNN, and he was fired when it was alleged he had inappropriate "contact" with junior staffers. He has been part of the beltway elite, and is likely a never trumper based on his resume.

@guyinsf In his closing statement he actually delivered a knockout blow. "She's been in power for 3 1/2 years, and hasn't done any of the things she's claiming she'll do". That is the knockout blow because people want a change from Biden/Harris.

@dadgerm Trump is on track to win again though. And quite handily.

@geeunit831 Sorry, but on the ABC poll taken after the debate, the 🐪 was significantly behind. In addition, Trump gained on the 🐫in terms of ability to manage the economy in the CNN poll. So the partisans may believe that the 🐪won, but in reality Trump gained from that debate particularly with undecided voters by approximately a 60-30 split.

Like the three had a script and Trump was the only one who was asked to do impromptu That's likely what happened.
