The lesson here is simple: When government does something stupid, they never admit it was stupid, they double down on stupidity

hahahaha. Reminds me of the "Company X is testing a new battery that will give four times the range" meme that always appears in YouTube videos on EVs, and then 2 weeks later you never hear about it again.

I KNOW A FRIEND WHO BOUGHT A POURSH AND IT COST HIM SEVEN HUNDREDREY THOUSAND DOLLARS JUST FOR AN OIL CHANGE. NOW LET ME TELL YOU THE 10 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO TO AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION.

It's good to have a tiny sports car; it keep you young in many ways.

Better, almost certainly. Lack of ventilated seats is a step back, the front and back are somewhat ugly, and the idea that this is an offroad vehicle in any way shape or form seems.... overstated. Staying with a V6 is a good move, although I understand gas mileage may be worse in real-world driving. If they removed the "stall when you stop" feature, then it's a definite step forward.

Just curious if the previous owner had the valve seats replaced so it can use unleaded fuel safely.

I was out of BMWs when they sissified their cars by largely eliminating manual transmissions. Fortunately, they no longer call themselves "the ultimate driving machine", because they're just another boulevardier for people who would be better off with a Honda Accord. As to EV's taking over by 2030; it's impossible until sometime in 2050, provided the electric companies double capacity, double transmission capacity and car makers figure out another source for the raw materials to build them apart from China and most importantly the price of these cars needs to drop by almost 50% in today's dollars.

Don't lease; if you can't afford to buy it, don't. Buy a 3 year old off-lease car. Negotiate, Negotiate, Negotiate Once you buy it, keep it for at least 10 years or 180K miles, whichever comes last.

The diesel ford pickups are a way better value than their new electric truck in every way imaginable. For example the 450 or 350 is a great truck for towing a large 5th wheel trailer or large horse trailer. And it will go hundreds of miles without recharging. And when you get tired of it in 15 years, you can resell it for half of what paid for it, and it will go another 15 years.
