  1. Why are they left hand drive? Is it because NZ always gets yank import cars when we don't in Oz, so maybe it was easier to adapt with keeping everything on the "driver's side" ? I heard that in the USA after WW2 the American's were buying the p51 mustang engine to put into speed boat's. I think it was the Allison engine???? The Brits pulled out the American and put in the rolls Royce Merilyn. So did you kiwis do the same?
