I've made too many comments already, but I just want to thank you, Jake, for the time you spend pulling together good info from many sources. Many Americans barely have the energy to find your channel, let alone all the channels you pull info from. It's a valuable service you're providing. I wish you and other pro-democracy sources could have your own TV channel, so tired Americans could just sit down in the evening, turn on the tube, and get solid information easily. We'd be a much better country if we were all making voting decisions with better info.

Thank you, citizens of Poland, for pulling back from the abyss. I rejoiced for you when I first heard of your election results, and now that your PM Tusk is back in office, I rejoice again. Tough times ahead. We need to work together.

Glad you read The Atlantic, Jake. I heard the interview with their writer David Frum yesterday - Biden asked the Republicans what they want for border policy, and they respond "Guess!" I doubt most of them have any antipathy towards Ukraine, but Ukraine is part of the collateral damage in their main goal of screwing everything up.

Those men have beautiful voices. I was sorry the Jingle Bells song overlaid their singing.

and the border is an issue they really have no interest in solving. They think it works for them to have chaos everywhere.

I thought they were holding the Russian assets to assist in rebuilding Ukraine, but now is good too.

Someone pointed out that Germany was able to become democratic after WWII because they were occupied by forces that steered them in that direction. Maybe Russia needs the same. I don't see it happening, but it takes a sustained effort to instill democratic principles in a population, and Russia doesn't have the leadership or the educated populace required to do that on its own.

Air time is a big part of the problem. There are many media figures pointing out the truth of American politics, but a sizeable chunk of our population never hears them. They might hear FOX or Twitter or OAN poking fun at them, and that's about it. As long as these voices have to be searched out on the internet, 30%+ of the US remain ignorant in their info silo. Media personalities in favor of retaining democracy should band together and form their own TV channel.
