  1. Trump doesn't care what the west thinks, only what his voters think. I think he would have so much chaos going on dismantling the justice system in the US that Ukraine/Russia would be just a blip by comparison. The rest of the west would condemn him, but Americans who want to retain democracy would be more engaged in saving their own country than in worrying about Ukraine.
