  6. In order for Germany to get gas from NordStream 2 they need a contract, but will Russia sign new contracts with hostile nations? If they refuse to sign new deals they will seal Europes fate. It’s the only long term solution for Russia’s long term security for Europe to agree to a broad security deal that probably means no more NATO in Europe, and no more American bases in Europe.
