  6. The plan was that the sanctions were to be the destructive force that toppled The Putin. They failed to appreciate that Russia had changed. It was much more sanctions proof. Once they failed their plan was down to military force.

  8.  @dislike7973  I don’t think the Germans have much of a claim unless multiple borders are changed. Plus millions moved as well, so haven’t lived in old Germany in many decades. If they want to change borders start with diplomatic efforts first.
