China is at least 5.3%, Russia is possibly higher as well. Germany is in recession as is the UK. The US rate is also overstated because of an undercount in inflation.

@mftb1 Exactly western economic growth is based on credit growth. Without it the economy shrinks. Without an underlying economy no bank wants to lend to a crashing economy. It makes the situation worse.

@christianklima1140 The Chinese government realised the negative effects of high house prices and did something to keep the young people happier and able to buy a home if needed. Western countries need to realise that.

@The_Touring_Jedi Japan has more problems than that. They had their economy destroyed by the US Plaza Accords and have seen multiple decades of stagnation as a result. Their leaders are selected by the USA so are destroying their country by joining sanctions that really hurt them because the US has told them so.
