@sisaket33 I suspect they won’t waste Russian lives on it, just end all resources to Europe and it’s going to collapse economically and socially. Revolutionary movements will want revenge on their elites.

@prettyorangesea With Putin as leader I don’t think that they will. He will probably end all trade with Europeans and when that bites it will be a collapsing continent. Economically they will have so little resources to even be a threat. The entire population will probably rise up in protest. The Americans will probably be kicked out at some point. If Medvedev were president then I would expect missiles to rain in on the power networks and turn the continent dark. Why waste Russian lives trying to subjugate the population? Just destroy the infrastructure and watch them implode. They will turn on their elites pretty fast. Ultimately that’s the only long term solution replacing our establishment. They are all corrupt.
