  1. China has no need to subsidise electric vehicles. They have massive economies of scale, which leads to low costs of production. They can make some micro cars for less than $4000.

  8. No she is destroying the European economy for the Americans. Longer term European car manufacturers will suffer as they cannot compete with Chinese EV’s. They are filled with gadgets, low cost and high customer service.

  9.  @kathylarson8876 No there is a micro car called Wuling, that is on sale for $4000 in China . It even outsold Tesla. There are also many other models that as good as Tesla’s, made by BYD and XPeng. Which are also outselling Tesla.
