Musks cult of personality and the success of the popularity of Tesla (demonstrated in its share price rather than actual sales) is a product of the brilliant visionary design and execution of an extraordinarily canny and successful social media PR campaign. Edward Berneys would be both astonished and proud. Thus to me the acquisition of Twitter by Musk is obvious. To believe in any other ideological or moral motivation is hopium. Musk is ultimately from the big club that we ain't in.
