  8.  @deaddoll1361  No. Typical climate activity. It's not a constant, it's dynamic. Look into standard deviations. Climate change is a macro climatic shift which would radically change the wholesale climatic environment for 10s of thousands of years. That is not the same as a temporary deviation from the average. Temporary of course could mean 1000+ years. Nobody has the competence or authority to confidently declare that we are experiencing actual global macro climate change.

It is not meant to take a millenia in any case, there is no set concrete mechanism or timescale. It is variable and dynamic. The discussion of observable behaviour over the duration of the planet is entirely and critically relevant. That is science. The bigger the data set of observations, the more reliable the conclusions. Data analysis 101. Fact.
