  4. This is a dark day for justice and democracy and a travesty for the rule of law. A thorough independent investigation has to be undertaken to establish exactly how this insult to due process has occured. It is becoming clearer that ideological fanaticism has marched through the institutions and taken hold of the levers of power. It is becoming clearer that we are being subjected to asymmetrical ideological warfare. This is an absolute disgrace.
