  12. FYI, all the lands south of the Yangtze River wasn't Chinese until Qin Shi Huang and subsequent Chinese dynasties conquered them all. Hong Kong was part of the Nan Yue Kingdom which completely fell to the Han dynasty of China around 98 BC, so China took it from other people around 2000 years ago. It has not always been part of China for 5000 years like you said!
