Tasmania must attract old Citroen cars. A test of an originally Victorian registered 1955 model 2CV that is now in Tasmania: https://youtu.be/5GSTZceciTo The Hubnut presenter owns his own newer 2CV in Wales and has also tested a Traction Avant but not in Tasmania unlike quite a few Australian cars he covered on his visit to Australia and New Zealand.

When first sold in 1948 the priority was farmers getting produce to market and this was a suspension design criteria not to break eggs travelling over a plowed field. Sales at first only to farmers and doctors such was the shortage

G'day Ian. Another very small car that was sold in Australia was the 354cc two cylinder Honda Z360 as modified and used to great effect in the 1986 film Malcolm : https://youtu.be/rXiC0KBbmFY Charging through the streets of Melbourne.

G'day Ian. You might like to see the 3 wheel capability of the luxury end DS Citroen. Also the stability of a blowout and hands free stopping : https://youtu.be/O7AijogHtRc Still impressive even though the car was first on the market in 1955 although this has the circa 1969 swivelling headlights helping with tight bends.

Traction Avant started 1934 as per the description in this rare few years later vid : https://youtu.be/HITDXRDA2Sg Also in the vid are listed a few cars earlier still by other makes. The 1930 front wheel drive transverse engine DKW F1 is worth looking up and disproves the BMC claim they invented FWD transverse with the Mini.
