  1. Funny that in Victoria we stopped seeing Mobil service stations over twenty years ago but with the petrol sold at 711 shops but little Mobil branding. Maybe SA a test market for a Mobil comeback

  2. At 9:23 the Ampol petrol brand goes back to the thirties but the servos got rebranded as Caltex in the nineties but now Caltex is going and Ampol being reintroduced. Caltex were connected to Ampol since the beginning of Ampol. Red Bull V8 supercars team was Caltex sponsored but changed to Ampol just last year.   3. G'day Ian. Yes we had the Holden Cruze here. Assembled for a while in Adelaide using mostly Daewoo parts. Big problem for GMH in not delivering the low running costs that a segment were looking for. Had rose tinted glasses from the media praise at the time and as he worked for Holden as a fork lift driver on the golden EH Holden years of 63 to 64.

  4. Mazda has a higher share of the market here than any country in the world, even Japan. Only behind Toyota for sales. One reason you see lots of highly regarded Mazda 3s. Biggest seller for many years is the Toyota hi Lux pickup imatatng a true car based ute.
