  1. G'day Ian. Yes the weekend. But the first time a shorter Bathurst race for the current V8 Supercars has been run to start the season. Todays 250 km race has be run and won, with lots of unexpected incidents. You may be able to watch the Sunday race tomorrow live, in the same way you often do. A Saturday and Sunday 250 km race added together to call the meeting the Bathurst 500, %00 km total and not the 500 mile single race from 1963 to about 1972. 250 km needing less time investment than the OCtober 1000 km race that will still be run. Support race was great with a mix of historic sedans. Toranas, Camaros, Mustangs and a Valiant Pacer were the ones I remembered.
