  1. We did have a NASCAR type banked oval racing here with quite a few NASCAR drivers paricipating. Search YouTube for Calder Park Thunderdome Lots of commenters here seem unaware of it. Probably because it only lasted from 1988 for about ten years or so. Both NASCAR type cars raced and local AUSCAR types in separate races. The local NASCARS raced at Bathurst a few times so search for Bathurst NASCAR to see a 100km race.
