  1. My then five year old nephew astounded everyone with how perfectly he could turn on a US accent when visiting there with his family. Disneyland , Grand Canyon etc. Mama can I have a drink of water, was the phrase he heard and asked his own Mum in perfect American for fun. Pleased with himself but easily went back to his normal Australian accent . So very receptive at that age.

  3. G'day mate will rarely go down badly from a male to another male well known to each other or even just to be just pleasant from a tourist. Male female interaction more complicated can be unwanted male to female or far too wanted female to male. Female to female less common.
