No need to wait 25 years. They even get creative sourcing parts to deal with keeping them running.   2. Free phone booths left after an attempt that nearly got rid of all the pay phones. The free ones now serve very poor people not able to afford or cope with mobile phones. Phone service dearer here Also aims to help when a phone is lost, stolen or dies. Free internet available near them too mainly aimed at emergencies.
