The Captiva and other Daewoo cars rebadged as Holden's is a big part of why Holden has ceased as a company in my option and a few others.

Although the earlier model Barinas from Suzuki and then Vauxhall/Opel had a much better reputation before the Barina became a rebadged Daewoo.

The first eighties Holden Barina was a re badged Suzuki Swift that built up a good reputation that went downhill each time Holden changed the Barina sourcing company design. Rapidly with Daewoo.

G'day Ian. Not many US vehicles for sale in Australia since the US companies have given up on making right hand drive cars. So expensive to have them converted here that just two types are converted here and sold by dealers. All well over $100,000. Mustang the exception and C8 Corvette in only very limited numbers. Mustang far more common but impressing less buyers over time after the first sales burst on release seven years back. The top three sellers are light trucks that the makers like to call utes even though they are not car based. Reason is they dont have real utes to sell any more. Massive rise in prices in the past three years. Take or leave it pricing then maybe even a years wait for in demand types. Lots like me holding on to their six year old cars. Being a looked after Mazda it is still running like new.

Ian , about Legacy. Why the name Legacy is reserved for just one important organisation in Australia: https://youtu.be/hQlJB2PjV6U No one in Australia would or should argue against that.
