  4. Also the 360 V8, but all less powerful than the E49. The weight of the V8s made them handle worse, so Chrysler developed the six for racing

  7. Anyone can confirm the 360 in later production Chargers for a while. Just search Valiant Charger 360 for numerous references. Quite a different story to those with dodgy memories. After Chrysler gave up on racing.

  8. Muscle cars usually based on affordable mass produced cars. The 383 and 440 Jensen Interceptor and FF were not that. Neither were the numerous Italian GT cars using the simplicity of a US or even Australian V8.
