Another thing about the P76 at 11:45 is that while even now some people are still repeating the Lemon propaganda , it was so good that it led an international very testing marathon rally through Europe and North Africa . Even more recently a P76 won the Peking to Paris long distance Rally for classic cars several times to show it was not a fluke. Most 87 year Olds struggle to keep driving let alone be part of a team winning a Peking to Paris rally several times in a so called lemon car.

  4. At 11:46. That looks to me to be the rare Australian Leyland P76 V8. Should try to find a link on them and one of the ten coupe versions made. https://youtu.be/S21P9n2RoBE A lot of this vid a bit short and dark to tell.

  5. 18:10 . Lots of state governments here have found a cash cow for extra cost special custom number plates to register cars with. Lots of different types.

  9. At 16:42 looks like the mark 1 Ford Cortina GT. Versions of these won the Bathurst 500 in 1963, 64 and 65. First Three peat. Not sure when the next three wins in a row were. Not the Lotus version that many people think.

  12. On the original vid comments he apologises for getting the P76 wrong. His excuse was living in Greece for twenty years. I would say Greek accent.

  13. When GMH introduced a four version called the GTS Monaro they started selling better than the more expensive Monaro GTS. These were sold and badged as a GTS Monaro even though a four door. No Kingswood trim in them unless that one was a later cloned car like so many are these days.
