Partly filmed at the Calder Park racing complex. Looking at this clip you can see the race circuit leading to the drag strip then later Kenny caught up in a big rig truck race on the Thunderdome high banked track as covered by you in the last week or so, but racing trucks : https://youtu.be/-PXDoRvojtU Being a low budget Melbourne film it was much cheaper to go to a local Melbourne race track with ready made rowdy drag racing crowds.
