  2. This was not downball at my old school high school with buildings over a hundred years old. Our Downball was more based in this guy practicing for school : https://youtu.be/ndD62qoCiF8: But at my high school all the building s had an extra foot or two of brickwork with beveled edges. The bevelled edge was important as having the ball below the edge and you were out. Any number could play until all the losers were eliminated. The favoured courts had bricked up old windows and ledges that gave lots of unpredictable rebounds to make things harder. Mix up the power shots with a gentle return to get opponents out of position for a return. Even some of the teachers got involved at lunchtime. Did not need any stinking court lines marked out in true Downball. Not a primary school game like the one shown in your vid that seems to have caught on and pinched the name of our true Downball. Yours looks like four square for little kids
