Our public service being so concentrated on giving politicians what they want to hear that they lost the skill to identify problems that will arise with politicians brain fart ideas, let alone feel safe raising any issues. Problem is a big section of the voting public swallow the spin and their brain fart ideas align with those getting the votes that count

  2. K mart very successful here. Maybe bought the US name and some advice on store layout and purchasing methods back for the first one in Burwood East, Melbourne back in 1969. Neat their head office team in Melbourne. Greg Murphy lap of the Gods car sponsored by K mart. Same management as Bunnings, Coles and Target. K mart often in the news about how successfully they are managed here. Often right next to the Coles supermarket like my local one. Lots a K mart purchases in my house over the past five years. Quite a few K mart vids on YouTube by shoppers keen on what they have bought.
