  1. G'day Ian. Like to see one of these drifting ? In the thirties at least, as part of the bus drivers training , older buses similar to this one would be used in drifting or skid training. Caught on newsreel film : https://youtu.be/gP_hG65skG0?si=UY8VvhWUexDx7Umk Including a few confident people on the top deck. I think this training to control skids continued into the eighties. There was a video on YouTube of the depot open day where you could travel in a bus on the skin pan as a passenger. Seventies or Eighties.
