Ram and Silverado are sold here new. But outsold by about one hundred more popular cars. The $100,000 starting price puts them out of reach to most. Not much US right hand drive production, mustang and new Corvette only I believe, means these trucks need to be converted here adding to the expense Ford in the news here talking about the F series making a comeback. I expect a huge price. Even Ford's only big seller here, the Ranger, is getting very expensive with the new models.

I expect the high end collector cars were brought in before prices went crazy. I saw one of the wing cars on the road locally about 1996.

Not just Ian. The name Mopar caught on in America in the early sixties to cover the various Chrysler products. In the US Chrysler was reserved for the top of the range brand. The equivalent of GM and Cadillac. https://youtu.be/FFOGukQlzjc

In earlier times we had Plymouth. Dodge and DeSoto cars locally made with high American content. The 1954 Plymouth P25 was sold here in a modified form from 1957 to 1964. Although named as the Australian Chrysler Royal AP1, AP2 and AP3 models. Sedans and much rarer station wagons and ute versions. US head office could not see a business case for new tooling so got us to continue facelifting the 54 model. Also dropped the multiple brands so all were Chrysler badged from then on except for a Dodge minor comeback for luxury cars and trucks. Fargo trucks dropped. The Chrysler 300 was very popular when introduced here. Helped in the demise of the Ford Fairlane here. Ford's long wheelbase luxury car that even many owners did not know it was just a clever upgrade of the Falcon but looking wider. Lots of the US looking cars at this event are private imports of cars over 25 years old. By the mid fifties all of the Chrysler brands here were cut back to Chrysler and Dodge. Dodge reserved for a large US based expensive car the Dodge Phoenix but also Trucks using International Harvester cabs with a Dodge grill and engines. Later the cheapest Valiant Ute was the bare bones Dodge version with silver painted bumper bars.

Just looked up RAM sales in Australia for 2021. Sold 3819 in a market of 1,050,000 vehicles sold. So 0,36% of new cars. Placed 68 , so 67 other make and models outsold it. But the Mustang only got to 91., No Chevrolet Corvette or Silverado in the top 100. Big growth in the Chinese made MG that got to number 10 after being unheard of a few years ago. Toyota Hilux number one then Ford Ranger not too far behind. Chrysler 300C off the market I think. Might be interesting for you to search for the top 100 cars sold in Australia for 2021.
