  1. My club started just labelling a slotted box "Donation Appreciated' and ended up with quite a few $50 notes as well as gold coins. Even more money than previous years fixed $2 with someone saddled with taking the money and making change. No issues with someone too poor or tight with money either. Most obviously appreciated what we put on.

  9. Coins. Imitation gold and silver. When the 1966 50 cent coins were round and silver they started being melted down after a few years because the silver became worth more than 50 cents. Same happened to much older shillings and sixpence coins made with higher silver content.

  10. Eucalyptus drops should not be used as candy, especially for kids. Try them first, usually for blocked up nasal passages if it is the ones I am used to.

  11.  @dylanzrim3635  even in the eighties my Mother tried to pay a parking fine with her saved up 50 cent pieces but got rejected by council guy quoting some law even then. So even ,50 cents. Not sure about gold coins.
