Springfield might dispute that.

Written by Australian songwriter Geoff Mack in 1959 who, after the success with lucky Starr in 1962 , went on to write a total of six versions and got royalties from most of the other compositions using his idea for other countries. He spent time in Japan immediately after the war so was confident to write a Japanese version.

More names here in the Australian Silo Art trail : https://youtu.be/_pRYuiw1AXI Perhaps get your wife to look first to confirm it is worth a reaction. A new idea started about ten years ago for wheat silos on the wheat sheep belt of rural Australia. After the first one had such an impact, so many towns were proud to have it done to their silo. Often depicting local identities.

If you can sing this you are pretty good cause close to no one in Australia can sing it like Lucky Starr : https://youtu.be/1OZWi-mTkNU Lots of background in the description.

Good attempt. This was also the idea behind Geoff Mack in 1959 writing his song ' I've Been Everywhere'. In 1962 it was a big hit for Australian singer Lucky Starr : https://youtu.be/cjm3zSCjNoU Geelong mispronounced to flow in the song better. So successful that Geoff Mack wrote seven other versions for other countries. The US version was a hit for Hank Snow before Lucky Starr could release his US version. Also later covered by Johnny Cash. This made many think Johnny Cash wrote it.
