  1. Usually just a winter thing , although just during the last week it has been so unseasonably cold that there was snow recorded down to even small altitudes. Quite a few alpine resorts with ski lifts and snow making machines to make up for when the weather does not provide enough snow. Need to be on the rich side of income to afford a skiing holiday though.
