Had a standard Mini as a team shopping cari in the fleet when working as a driver for Cooper F1 and saw the benefit and ease of putting the Cooper A series F3 engine in the company Mini. Then contacted Dunlop about developing front disc brakes for the car. The car so impressed BMC that it was soon in production as the Mini Cooper.
