There should be a law that rent can't cost more per month than a mortgage.

@Swae Ocean no, all I said is, to stay in a one room one bathroom apartment, it should NOT cost me MORE than paying to own a 3 room, 2 bathroom House with a garage and yard.

@donnamaco1 Banks are a perpetual scam in this era anyways. They will be replaced because people have long since become their own banks.

@donnamaco1 i can say no one wants free. But everyone wants affordable. The high prices are largely due to con artists running the market, the banks, and the government, hence War being one of the biggest businesses ever with a quarter of a billion annual budget (that is public at least). As for the resource based economy, I will have to look into at some point. Went i brought up everyone being their own bank, I was referring to Decentralization, which brings about the possibility of a world without borders (not literally), that could have huge benefits of its own if implemented correctly. There's still a vast amount of research that needs to be conducted into these methods.

@Chaud Poivron Require credit for what? Do you understand how fractional reserve banking works? You realize that you can run a business without credit, instead of getting loans from the banks, you get money from the people you wish to do business with, and do t seek bail outs when you fail.

@donnamaco1 By owning a key (encrypted password) to an unhackable wallet (based on your responsability) that holds their money and can be sent anywhere in the world regardless of who might want to scam, steal, or otherwise prevent you from doing what you wish with your own wealth.

@manfredschmalbach9023 thanks for the reasonable reply. I somewhat agree. There's a compromise that can be had surely, right now the housing market is in an absolute mess. Not just in Cali, but in the entire country it's very difficult for a single individual that works 2 or 3 jobs to rent and live comfortably.
