  1. +Liotanva Blueish its a figure of speech, but let me clarify. Taiwan is already independent, and the reason being is because it's a Democracy, and it's on an island with its own military force. It's not like Hong Kong, which has no defense force or official separate government per say. Taiwanese people will never live under a communist regime that abuses its citizens and forces loyalty on people even out of country. Taiwan won't put itself in a position to be ruled in such way, and thus, even if China took Taiwan by force, millions would die because of their hard founded love for Democracy, and freedom of expression.

  2. +Liotanva Blueish for your information, Iraq requested US help. Unfortunately, Iraq is a very different nation, with groups and tribes holding the territorial and ethnic influence. When past US leaders went in, they failed to restore order because they didn't win the hearts of the important. That's why Iraq is currently very weak. But current U.S. President is smarter by trusting the more powerful Iraqi Kurds, and Peshmerga to help secure Iraq. Also, Taiwan loves the U.S. It exists because of the U.S. China would like nothing more than to turn Taiwan into nuclear dust.
