"They were worried about upsetting their advertisers", in reality the Media should be Obective and shouldn't be funded by people with an interest. Those advertisers don't like what you say despite it being true, they'll come after you. You lose a job, or your have your reputation destroyed because when you told the truth you contradicted with their interests.
