Today, NATO Is not only world renowned for destroying and conspiring to destroy smaller, defenseless, and even democratic/secular countries. It's also right next to Russia's border, desperate to encircle Russia. Naturally, this has forced Russia to respond. If anyone wonders why Russia broadcasts the creation of brand new highly advanced Nuclear Weapons, it's not because they're crazy or evil. It's because a broken promise and geo-political games have forced them to. If you backed a conscious animal into a corner, it would begin to posture itself for an attack against you. Russia is no different.
