  1. +ukrainian99 His judgement is right, though it may have been worded a bit too... blindly. Turkey has hated Kurd's, thus doesn't fight ISIL. Turkey is powerful, it could stomp on ISIL if it wanted, and had many chances to do so. But they refuse. Even when attacked, the Turkish blamed ISIL, then arrested Kurd's instead, and not only stayed out of the fight, but allowed the US to finally use it's airfield. Why would Turkey not only arrest Kurd's, but just then allow another NATO member access to it's military bases for use late in the conflict? I do support Russia at this point more than i used to, it's not a Dictatorship, it's a Communism. Secondly, even though Russia is backing Assad, they're getting somewhere. Though it's sad how little the rest of the world is doing. The only people on the ground are Kurds and a few SF. Not nearly enough to do much to ISIL

  2. Gelukkige Hulp the plane could have been shot down in Turkey, and continued flying until it crashed into Syria. The point at which they flew into Turkish airspace was on the Southern most tip, which is quite small. They could have easily glided through that amount of airspace with no engine thrust. So 4 kilometers in is not a large distance for pilots. That's actually quite small and could be traveled at high speed in a few seconds.
