The current law enforcement is a mix of the old and new system, where the old system is as you say it, where as the new system isn't really a system, but rather what people signing up to join think it's like. They think it's all about the people. So you then have a mix of the elite and moderate members working together, in some cases separately, and in other cases, the elite can convince the moderate members to just follow along. In short. the entire Police system needs a reform.

  3. ***** It depends. It's like anything, when you have a large group like Police forces, military, government, you name it, there will always be sinister members. It's just life, you can't really stop that from happening, but that doesn't mean the majority of police and such are bad people. Sometimes even the good people are caught in a situation where they realize the people around them are a bad influence.

  5. Michael Mckesson To be fair, a load of places are no better than other places. But it takes groups like the Guardian's to change the world, and it starts with a community at a time.

  6. Michael Mckesson Well, from what i know of the city, it's undergoing massive refurbishment and modernization in rural area's that have pretty much decayed out. Communities are going to be working hard to make the best out of that and many will probably find affordable housing in the future in decently new and rebuilt area's, which should boost the moral of any in the rural parts.

  7. mobspeak Most every other country didn't form with the "Citizens First" in mind. The US is the fits nation with it's people (originally stated) before the government. However, most civilizations were about loyalty to their overlords first.
