It's not even really legal, it's only supported Monsanto seeded dispensaries which is bullcrap because Monsanto's abuse of influence as well as health risks in any of their poducts not to mention their Cannibis products take away most of the health benefits of Cannabis

@yumpladukfoo it's exactly as I said. Notice he says you can really only order online. Why is that? Its because of you walked into a Mom and Pa local Cannabis business in Canada and bought some products tyou would very well, if caught, be charged. TLDR; the Government legalizing Cannabis is a wolf in sheep's skin. They are capitalizing and monopolizing on the industry that was created by those grossly oppressed. Those who designed and created the strains of Cannabis for medical use and health benefits and grew local businesses will now suffer because the legalization is corporate based, one of the main benefactors is Monsanto and what ever their Parent Companies are because they have a monopoly on seeds, geo-engineered plant products and that includes Cannabis. They were just dying for this so they could capitalize big on it at the expense of the small businesses who actually give a damn about you and me and our health needs.

I realize not all GMO products are bad, but coming from an immoral company like Monsanto, yes, they are very bad as anyone and their mother can tell you, even google. Just Google Monsanto and you will be greeted with their cancer and illness packed products. So when you say the Average person, I get it because most average people have let their health go unchecked to all hell. Lastly, science is the thing that lets people take healthy attributes of a plant out and leave the not so healthy attributes. It seems you are the one who lacks knowledge in that respect. It's all about control is all. Cannabis business is huge, you can't pretend like big corporations like big pharma are just going to sit on their asses and let the morally correct thing happen right before them.

I'm guessing you don't know that much about Monsanto, so let me give you a TLDR; anything agriculture related, Monsanto has a patented seed of their own, for any planet, vegitable, fruit, and even things like cotton, as in the case with India until they were literally banned from the country, a win for mother earth and for average peoppe like you and me... assuming you enjoy organic, natural, non-GMO products. So naturally, when a government legalize Cannibis, who do you expect them to support first and foremost? First you have institutions like the FDA, then you can corporations with a monopoly on seeds like Monsanto. Common sense plays to the absolute favor of Monsanto who could easily with their supply, crank out products of their own Cannibis thus harming the local businesses in this fresh market for recreational cannabis. But don't take it from me. Visit local Cannibis shops, ask around there. I promise you they'll tell you up front the issues they will face in the new era of "legalized" Cannibis.
