  1. Most Americans DO NOT want more gun control because it's unconstitutional. Where were all the mass shootings before 9/11? Before JFK? Perhaps it's more to do with the prolonged degradation of constitutional obligations on all levels, as well as deteriorating education, not to mention the mental stigma created by sending our children over seas to fight another countries war, instead of in the defense of the US, which by the way, is also unconstitutional. Stop with the lobbying. Journalists, DO - YOUR - JOB.

  2. RedEnergie to answer, "why is an 18 year old able to buy handguns and rifles without the proper education to handle them", well that's up to the person who is purchasing. Sure, I'm certain their are laws regarding age, but I've seen toddlers handle weapons much more responsibly and professionally, sometimes with more skill, than many well brought up, well tought, and we'll trained instructors. That's because those kids learn from those instructors. But it's more of a problem now because corporations like the NRA have been corrupted by individuals who seek to scar this country with gun problems. The NRA used to be about community, gun rights, and gun education, as well as saftey. But it's become a lobby, just like the media has become. What the US really needs, isn't more laws, not more regulations. It simply needs a return of values that respect every American family. We need to root out the lobbyists and replace them with people qualified to do the jobs the lobbyists have infiltrated, because it's them who benefit from these problems, that includes gun violence.

  3. David Williams not guns, I've explained it already. Tell you what, you want guns out of the hands of every citizen in the US? Here's the deal. Every secret Alphabet Corporation needs to disband and disappear, and a single intelligence agency fully loyal to the constitution (because the current do not) replaces the former. Both Republicans and Democrats also need to be abolished and replaced with constitutional leadership hand picked by the people based on a serious of extremely difficult constitutional tests, strictly and totally loyal to the constitution, otherwise punishable by death. Then, withdraw entirely from over seas and not deploy, or mobilize the military unless attacked, as well as cutting military spending from 1 trillion a year down to only 50 Billion. Also abolish the AMUF. Then change anything divisive that's in the constitution, and ensure it guarantees all rights to every citizen, no matter ethnicity, language, what ever the heck people fight over these days. Then, and only then, can you get rid of the 2nd amendment.

  4. RedEnergie that's the thing, in not saying that there were not shootings before those times, but rather there wasn't as much of a social divide because of it. That's because guns are a necessary tool in American way of life, but also because there was sufficient education surrounding them, even in schools, and in most communities. The biggest turn in social divide regarding guns only happened because of the Federal Government turning it's back on the constitution. That divide only widened to the point we are at now. We have enough gun laws, but its just that there isn't the education we used to have regarding them. The answer isn't removing guns.
