@sm4sh3d I went to Japan for the second time this year, in february. I entirely skip the Kanto area and Tokyo, so yeah Shibuya and Shinjuku are skipable as well ^^ It really depend of what people want, and for me, i wanted to discover the countryside more (not the crowded Tokyo with his urban jungle ). So Kyushu and southern Kansai where the goal for me! Tokyo isn't bad in itself but for someone who is living in a small town and was born in the contryside, it has too much building and people, it's not for me.
