I remember being told in high school that popping my knuckles would give me arthritis by the time I was 30. I'm 62 now, and no arthritis. Conclusion: don't listen to old wives tales.

@cheiplkchucken7090 I remember my parents complaining about arthritis from when I was a child. Of course it happens to some people. So does lung cancer. And sometimes neither happens to some people.

@garydowd7313 Honestly, bro... I DON'T KNOW! I have a large knot on either shoulder. An orthopedic surgeon was kind enough to inform me once that was arthritis, from working for too many years with my hands over my head. I remarked that they didn't hurt. He responded that they will in time. Now that I'm retired, I have plenty of time. But still no pain yet.
