@iamtheonewhoyeags The mental peculiarity of believers is how much like themselves they imagine their deity of choice to be. How many white people imagine their god with dark skin, or even with the human attribute of genitalia? If gods have genitals, why? If they don't, they can't create in their own images. Such fundamental contradictions in mental constructs is what makes so many of us atheists.

@monmonthecat1652 For YHWH so adored the humanity on planet Earth, that he impregnated a Jewish female virgin, so that whosoever believeth in that male child shall still perish, but will imagine themselves to persist their existence eternally in a paradise after they die. Doesn't have quite the same ring to it when written differently, does it? And nowhere in the Bible are cats mentioned. God must hate cats. What good is a god that doesn't love cats?

As a gun owner, is it possible to imagine a life without guns? Or are you enslaved by them? Are your rights to own guns superior to the rights of others not to be killed in action? Are you protecting the country from commies? Just asking questions. Prove your maturity by trying not to display indignance, m'kay?

@1texasminer You misunderstand. I'm American, and a former gun owner myself. I no longer own guns because of a very vital reason: they're useless. I can go out into my garage and use a tool. I can't use a gun. I can use tools to repair, build, create, and do things. Guns only destroy. I'm not "pushing any political narrative." I'm expressing a view with my first amendment right to say that your second amendment right is superfluous and spurious. Unless you've defended yourself from renegade Apaches or bloodthirsty liberals lately.

@1texasminer I've lived in homes for 62 years. Never once got invaded. So your warning is invalid and doesn't apply. I have more to worry about no knock warrants, where the police would gun me down before some imagined villains. And that doesn't seem to happen very often either. Is Texas really that lawless? I live in Colorado, to where I moved from Texas back in 1965.

@1texasminer Personally, I'm not against guns. What I'm against is the fear mongering that seeks to convince people that "radical liberals" are out to take away everyone's guns. That's simply childish. America has more guns than people. It would take a national effort to take away the guns from the nation, and the nation doesn't want it. I believe in freedom. Biden's not going to take the guns, and neither did Clinton nor Obama. It's all just hyperbole. I ask you prove yourself too intelligent to indulge in such histrionics. It's not too much to ask. I believe in you.
