As a service industry worker in a conservative area, you need a better and more skilled line of work. I had to evolve beyond such wage slavery, and hope you do too.

The history of religion proves that religion does indeed evolve.

@hapa7791 "...conservatives are advocates of a mixed economy and of a welfare state. Their difference from the liberals is only one of degree, not of principle." -Ayn Rand, Playboy interview, March 1964 It is an ethical duty of the underclass to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.

"In everyday speech, people tend to use the word 'theory' to mean an untested hypothesis, or even a guess. But the term 'evolutionary theory' does not refer to any single hypothesis, and it certainly is not guesswork. As used in science, 'theory' refers to the entire body of work on the understanding and application of a field of knowledge. When we refer to evolutionary theory, we are referring to our understanding of the mechanisms that result in biological changes in populations over time, and the use of that understanding to interpret changes and interactions of biological organisms." -Life (the science of biology) Ninth Edition Sadava, Hillis, Heller, Berenbaum

@SubatomicParticleX I've always wondered why the Jews were so keen on numerology. The ancient Greeks used to divine signs from birds. Primitive superstitions.

Unfortunately, I've never read Origin of Species, but I've read a portion of it. Darwin described an incident where a troop of baboons protected a member that was in distress. Thus, it's safe and sage to presume that altruism is not an exclusive human feature.
