Probably not.

Was Enoch writing before alphabets were written?

"In fact, there is evidence that it is much older than the Bible and was already a widely known part of literature when the Bible was written..." Jude 1:14.

Cool myth, dude.

@ahmedharrak3985 "... the first human being ever to write with the pen..." gets credit for inventing the alphabet he was using before the invention of alphabets. Information should strive to be accurate, not beyond credibility. And should be logical instead of illogical.

@ahmedharrak3985 Did it occur to you that cuneiform and hieroglyphics are not, by definition, alphabets? They're pictographs. More vague and ambiguous than printed words. And it's a matter of archaeological consensus that "pre-Abrahamic" means nothing if it's impossible to prove that such a mythical patriarch ever lived? Q) Why do Muslims and Christians both believe the ancient Jewish myths only orthodox Jews believe? A) Heresies are desperate for validation. By attaching their fables to an ancient tribal mythos they didn't create.

It's my uninformed opinion that Enoch was left out of orthodox-approved canon because it stands as quite fantastic and unreal literature. Who really believes these incredible claims? The existing canon is fictional enough, without making it a Plan 9 from Outer Enoch.

Out with the old, in with the new. Pathetic was the veneration of a dead Jew, instead of a living humanity.
