  13.  @PacoElMapache  first of all it’s Switzerland not Sweden, and only people who served in the military are allowed to own rifles, they aren’t allowed to just carry them around wherever they want. Also, comparing Canada and the USA to any Scandinavia country is a false comparison, all those countries have less poverty, more education, more public services and they are in general countries with the highest standards of living and they don’t have poverty, homelessness, gangs, drugs and other issues that exists in Canada and the usa

  16.  @PacoElMapache  I think Canada should definitely hand out harsher sentenced to violent criminals, even illegal gun possession should have mandatory minimums of 10 to 15 years, but that's a whole other issue

  17.  @PacoElMapache  the manufacturing and sale and importation of weapons in Europe is highly regulated, they don't have a border with the USA that criminals can just walk in with assault rifles and sell them to gangs, that's why I put Canada and the USA in the same category when comparing North America to Europe

  20.  @PacoElMapache  I’m not ignoring your example, I explained to you why the comparison is flawed, CZ is barely as big as the GTA geographically, just that fact alone that they don’t have a 9 thousand kilometre border with the biggest manufacturer of weapons with some of the most loose gun laws where thousands of brand new guns are smuggled from into it on a yearly basis
